Privacy policy
PhotoLeak is run by KaiForgeDigital, the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact us at hello@photoleak.co.uk.
Site owners and helpers
- Your email address, to sign you in with a link and send receipts, invitations and reminders about your site.
- The photos and captions you upload, to show them on your site. We remove location data from photos when they’re uploaded.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
Guests
- Guests don’t give us their name or email.
- A cookie remembers that you’ve entered the clearance code, and your browser stores your reactions and badges.
- We count visits without cookies, to see how many people use each site.
People in the photos
If you appear in a photo on a PhotoLeak site and want it removed, report it and we’ll review it promptly.
How long we keep it
- Photos are deleted when a site closes, 30 days after going live (or later if extended). Sites that are never paid for are deleted after a period of inactivity.
- Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run PhotoLeak: our hosting provider, Stripe for payments and Resend for email. We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email us to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
