Upload. Print. Leak.
PhotoLeak turns a folder of embarrassing photos into a private website, opened by a QR card on every table. Here’s everything that happens, from the first upload to the last reaction.
The short version
Upload the photos
Sort the evidence into albums, with Embarrassing as the headline. Invite friends to add theirs. iPhone photos are converted automatically.
Print the QR cards
One click gives you a print-ready A4 sheet of 8 cards: QR code, clearance code and their face, in your site’s theme.
Reveal it at the event
Guests scan, type the code and browse on their phones. They react live, and you run the show from the control panel.
Building your site
It takes an evening. Most of the time goes on choosing which photos make the cut.
- Start free. Name the guest of honour, pick the occasion and set the title, like “The Dave Files”. Add their face for the cards and the site.
- Fill the albums. Upload up to 250 photos into ready-made albums, or make your own. Add captions. iPhone photos are converted automatically.
- Invite helpers. Send invites by email to friends and family. Their photos wait for your approval before they appear.
- Preview it. See exactly what guests will see, for free, for as long as you like.
- Go live. Pay £24 once. Your guest link and print-ready QR cards unlock, and the site stays up for 30 days.
What guests see
Every guest gets the whole show on their phone. Try it yourself in the demo.
- Guests scan the card. The QR card opens the site in their phone’s browser. No app, no account.
- They type the clearance code. Printed on the card, or read out by you at the right moment. You can change it any time.
- They press the big red button. A drum roll, confetti, and they’re into the files.
- They swipe and react. Swipe through each album, pinch to zoom, tap emojis. Reactions update across every phone in seconds.
- The Cringe-o-meter fills. The headline album’s meter climbs as the room reacts. When a photo maxes out, every phone knows.
- You run the show. From your control panel: hide a photo, reset reactions, change the code, see how many guests are on.
Printing the QR cards
When your site goes live, you get a print-ready A4 PDF with 8 cards and cut lines. Each card shows the QR code with the guest of honour’s face in the middle, the site’s address, and the clearance code.
Print on thick paper or card at home, or take the PDF to any print shop. One card per place setting gets everyone in fastest; one or two per table works too.
See it before you build it
Open the demo on your phone, type the clearance code and play guest for a minute. It’s the same site your guests will get.
