What is PhotoLeak?
A private website of embarrassing photos of one person, made for a speech or a party. You upload the photos into albums, print the QR cards, and guests scan them at the event to browse and react on their phones.
How do guests get in?
They scan the QR code on their card with their phone camera and type the clearance code printed next to it. No app and no account.
How much does it cost?
£24, once. Building and previewing your site is free; you only pay when you’re ready to go live and get your guest link and QR cards.
How long does the site stay up?
30 days from going live. Longer will be available as an extra.
How many photos can I add?
Up to 250, across as many albums as you like. iPhone photos (HEIC) are converted automatically.
Is it private?
Yes. Sites are hidden from search engines, and nobody can see the photos without the clearance code. You can change the code at any time from your control panel.
Can friends add photos too?
Yes. Invite helpers by email. Their photos wait for your approval before guests can see them.
What can guests do on the site?
Browse the albums, swipe through the photos, and react with emojis. The Cringe-o-meter fills as the room reacts, and the Hall of Shame ranks the most-reacted photos live. There are no comments, so there’s nothing to moderate.
What if a photo goes too far?
Hide it from the control panel and it disappears from every guest’s phone within seconds.
Can I get a refund?
Because you can build and preview the whole site for free first, payments aren’t refundable once a site is live.
What isn’t allowed?
Embarrassing is the point; explicit or harmful isn’t. Our terms ban explicit, hateful and harmful content, and every guest site has a link to report it.
Does it work for things other than weddings?
Yes: stag and hen dos, milestone birthdays, leaving dos and retirements all work the same way.
See it before you build it
Open the demo on your phone, type the clearance code and play guest for a minute. It’s the same site your guests will get.
