The best man speech prop that does the heavy lifting
Gather the photos the groom hoped were lost forever. Guests scan a card at their table, type the clearance code and browse the evidence on their phones while you speak.
Build and preview free. £24 once to go live.
Why PhotoLeak beats a slideshow
No projector, no tech rehearsal
Venues rarely have a screen where you need it. Every guest already has one in their pocket.
The room reacts with you
Guests tap emojis as you talk. The Cringe-o-meter fills live, and the worst photo tops the Hall of Shame.
You stay in control
Change the clearance code, hide a photo or unlock the next album from your phone mid-speech.
From camera roll to The Dave Files
Gather the evidence
Upload photos of the groom into albums: Embarrassing, Throwbacks, The Stag Do and more. Invite friends to add theirs; you approve each one.
Print the cards
Download an A4 sheet of 8 QR cards titled “The Dave Files”, with the clearance code and their face in the middle of the QR code.
Leak it
Reveal the clearance code at the right moment. Guests scan, browse and react on their phones while the groom finds out what you found.
Albums to start you off
Every site starts with albums suited to the occasion. Rename them, delete them or add your own. Embarrassing is always the headline, with the Cringe-o-meter.
- Embarrassing
- Throwbacks
- The Stag Do
- Nights Out
- Questionable Fashion
- Before He Met Her
When to reveal it
Most best men hand out the cards with the place settings and keep the code secret until the speech. Read out the code as your opener and the whole room is on the site before your first joke lands. Save the Embarrassing album for your big story, then tell guests to keep scrolling through dessert.
- Ask the groom’s family for school photos early. Mums always have the best ones, and they love being asked.
- Keep the Embarrassing album to 15–25 photos. Enough for a laugh, short enough that guests reach the end.
- Add one-line captions. A dry caption under a terrible haircut gets a bigger laugh than the photo alone.
- Run the plan past the bride. Nothing in the files should be news she’d rather not hear on the day.
Best man FAQs
Will the groom see it before the wedding?
Only if you tell him. The site sits behind a clearance code that you choose, and you can keep it in preview until the day.
Can the groomsmen add photos?
Yes. Invite them by email and they can upload from their phones. You approve each photo before it appears.
What if a photo goes too far?
Hide it from the control panel and it disappears from every guest’s phone within seconds.
Do older guests manage the QR code?
Phone cameras scan QR codes on their own now. The address is printed on the card too, for anyone who’d rather type it.
See it before you build it
Open the demo on your phone, type the clearance code and play guest for a minute. It’s the same site your guests will get.
