Why PhotoLeak beats a slideshow
Better than a card
A leaving card gets read once. A site full of photos gets passed around the whole team.
Remote colleagues join in
Anyone with the link and code can see it, so people who can’t make the drinks still take part.
Office-friendly
You choose every photo, and you can hide one instantly if it’s not right for the room.
From camera roll to The Priya Files
Gather the evidence
Upload photos of your colleague into albums: Embarrassing, Christmas Parties, Away Days and more. Invite friends to add theirs; you approve each one.
Print the cards
Download an A4 sheet of 8 QR cards titled “The Priya Files”, with the clearance code and their face in the middle of the QR code.
Leak it
Reveal the clearance code at the right moment. Guests scan, browse and react on their phones while your colleague finds out what you found.
Albums to start you off
Every site starts with albums suited to the occasion. Rename them, delete them or add your own. Embarrassing is always the headline, with the Cringe-o-meter.
- Embarrassing
- Christmas Parties
- Away Days
- Desk Life
- Team Nights Out
- The Early Days
When to reveal it
Leaving drinks usually build to a speech from a manager or teammate. Reveal the code there, and leave cards on the bar for latecomers. For a remote team, share the link and code in the team chat during a farewell call.
- Keep it work-appropriate. Embarrassing is good; anything that could cause an HR conversation isn’t.
- Ask the team to upload photos in the week before, rather than chasing everyone on the day.
- Include a “Desk Life” album: the cluttered desk, the mug collection, the plant that never died.
- End on photos from their first week, so the send-off finishes on a warm note.
Leaving do FAQs
Is it suitable for work?
It’s whatever you make it. You approve every photo, and you can hide any photo instantly from the control panel.
Can people working from home take part?
Yes. Share the address and clearance code in your team chat.
Who pays?
One person pays the one-off price. Many teams split it like a leaving collection.
Does the leaver get to keep it?
The site stays up for 30 days. A photo download to give them as a keepsake is planned.
See it before you build it
Open the demo on your phone, type the clearance code and play guest for a minute. It’s the same site your guests will get.
