Give the bride the maid of honour speech she deserves
You’ve kept the photos for years. Now every guest gets to see them: a private site of the bride’s finest moments, opened with a QR card at each table.
Build and preview free. £24 once to go live.
Why PhotoLeak beats a slideshow
Every table sees it
No craning at a screen across the room. The photos are in every guest’s hand.
Affectionate, not cruel
Mix the embarrassing with the sweet: albums for throwbacks, holidays and the friendship itself.
It keeps going after the speech
Guests keep browsing and reacting through the evening, and the Hall of Shame shows the room’s favourites.
From camera roll to The Sophie Files
Gather the evidence
Upload photos of the bride into albums: Embarrassing, Throwbacks, Girls’ Holidays and more. Invite friends to add theirs; you approve each one.
Print the cards
Download an A4 sheet of 8 QR cards titled “The Sophie Files”, with the clearance code and their face in the middle of the QR code.
Leak it
Reveal the clearance code at the right moment. Guests scan, browse and react on their phones while the bride finds out what you found.
Albums to start you off
Every site starts with albums suited to the occasion. Rename them, delete them or add your own. Embarrassing is always the headline, with the Cringe-o-meter.
- Embarrassing
- Throwbacks
- Girls’ Holidays
- Nights Out
- The Hen Do
- Best Friends Since
When to reveal it
Speeches by the maid of honour often come after the meal, when the room is warm. Put the cards out at the start and tease them: “Don’t scan that yet.” When you stand up, give the code and let the first gasp land before you start your story.
- Balance it. A few truly embarrassing photos, then something heartfelt, keeps the bride laughing rather than wincing.
- Round up photos from her school friends and siblings in one go by inviting them as helpers.
- Use captions for the in-jokes, so guests who don’t know the backstory still get the joke.
- Check with the groom’s side too. The best reveals are a surprise to the couple, not the families.
Maid of honour FAQs
Can the bridesmaids help collect photos?
Yes. Invite them by email and they upload straight from their phones. You approve everything before it goes live.
Does it work for a joint speech?
Yes. Two or more of you can upload, and either of you can run the control panel on the day.
Will the bride see it before the day?
Not unless you share the code. You can build and preview it privately for free, and only pay when you go live.
Can guests download the photos?
Guests browse in the browser. A full download of every photo is planned as a keepsake for you to give the couple.
See it before you build it
